Facilities Management Courses

Facilities management courses are designed to impart the knowledge and skills related to the maintenance and running of wide variety of commercial buildings such as hotels, hospitals, office complexes, and sports arenas. Facilities Management: Course Contents

Project Management: The students in a project management course are taught about the basics of coordinating and managing the operations within a facility. Some of the important topics of this course include budgeting, cost estimation,cost analysis, scheduling, and space planning. Telecommunications: A telecommunications course is designed for teaching students about design and implementation of voice and data communications networks for enhancing work coordination in a facility. Crisis management teaches the various phases of crisis management including preparedness, response, recovery as well as mitigation. Cost Control: The cost control procedure involvesvarious methods for controlling and reducing facility costs.

This course includes everything related to energy costs, capital improvements, costs related to building management, money spent on maintenance and waste removal, and taking measures for cost reduction by adopting the correct measures and programs.
